My heart behind the keote x Tiny Bibles
Over the last year, I’ve been working on a laundry list of new keote products. Most of them fall into the category of things you leave the house and realize you either forgot at home or wish you had with you — in the same spirit of the problem the original keote solves.
Every product is uniquely designed — many so unique, in fact, that manufacturing them has proven difficult, too expensive or simply not possible. All have been delayed or paused. All except one: the one we’re launching now. The keote x Tiny Bible.

Some of you may know how important my faith is to me. I dedicated my life to Jesus around the same time I was building keote, so the two feel deeply intertwined. (More on that below.) One of the items I’ve always wished I could carry with me — everywhere — is the Bible. But that’s not always feasible (It’s a big book). That led me to start searching the internet for a keychain version of the Holy Bible.
To my surprise, it simply didn’t exist. What I found were excerpts, or decorative books that said “Bible” on the front but didn’t contain actual Scripture. And then I found Martyn at Tiny Bibles.
Martyn had set out to recreate the world’s smallest Bible — something that hadn’t been produced since the 19th century. And he succeeded. What he created is a full-text Bible, smaller than the palm of your hand, and beautifully bound in genuine leather. The moment I saw it, I knew: this is the one that needs to be “keote-ified”. I reached out to Martyn, and we began the collaboration that became the keote x Tiny Bibles partnership you see today. After a handful of design iterations, we landed on a timeless, built-to-last, truly one-of-a-kind Holy Bible keychain — and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.
Now, if you’re interested in learning more about my faith and my heart behind this product (and behind this business), I’d love to share. I’m happy — and maybe a little nervous — to tell you more about my testimony. It's long, so maybe grab a coffee or tea before you keep reading.
As I mentioned, I was building keote while also on a spiritual journey — a search for truth and purpose, something I had been seeking most of my adult life. After years of exploring other theologies, spiritual paths, and worldviews, I came to the intellectual conclusion that truth is found in Jesus, and in the Bible. I read the entire New Testament. I started attending church and watching sermons online. I watched The Chosen. I was seeking the Lord. I wanted to know Him and be known by Him.

Eventually, what had started as head knowledge slowly became heart knowledge. I gave my life to Jesus and was filled with His Holy Spirit. He began transforming me from the inside out. I don’t know how to describe it except to say that I felt a peace, rest and joy I’d never known. I started to only want to listen to worship music, I became increasingly uncomfortable with sin in my life, I wanted to read the Bible more, I wanted to draw nearer to His holy presence. This was the beginning of my sanctification process — one that continues today, and will continue until the day my Savior returns or I meet Him in heaven.
While all this was happening, keote was being born. And part of being transformed by Jesus also meant a shift in my motives. I started asking: Why am I starting this business? Why am I creating this product? And honestly — my original “why” may surprise you.
I had always wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. I had little to no desire for a career, had no dreams of climbing any ladder, and definitely didn’t want the burden of running my own business. I was just unhappy enough in my 9–5 that I wanted a way to replace my income so I could be home with my (future) babies.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Just had dollar signs as my goal. Side note: if you're thinking of starting a business for money alone, let me lovingly warn you — when things get hard (and they will), that "why" falls apart fast. I learned this the hard way. But praise God — He used it. My motives were exposed, and He began to purify my heart. In the tough moments — the ones where I wanted to quit, walk away, see what else the Lord had in store for me or settle for my 9-5 — He kept confirming that this business was part of His plan.
I asked Him over and over: “Lord… how can I glorify You by selling keychains?”
And over and over, He reminded me: My ways are not your ways.
God works beyond logic. He writes better stories than we can imagine. I didn’t know my calling would be to become a business owner, an entrepreneur, and a mom. But here I am — and I’ve found more purpose and fulfillment in it than I ever dreamed.
Now, just two years after launching, I get to share my testimony here with you. And even better — I get to co-create and release a Bible unlike anything else on the market.

I’m a firm believer that the Word of God is alive and active. When the Holy Spirit lives in you, the words of Scripture leap off the page. They convict you, move you to tears, speak to your hungry soul, lead you to repentance and increase your faith and trust in God. They encourage you when you’re weary. They correct you when you’re drifting. And they always lead you back to the feet of Jesus.
It is the Lord Himself speaking directly to you. And now, thanks to God’s guidance and this collaboration, we can clip His Word to our keys and carry it with us wherever we go.
And because I believe so deeply in the power of God's Word, each keote Tiny Bible comes with a free full-size Bible. If you don’t yet have a Bible of your own, I pray this becomes the beginning of a lifelong love for His Word. And if you already have one, I encourage you to keep this extra copy close — in your car, your bag, or your desk — so you're ready when the Lord prompts you to give it to someone who hasn’t yet encountered the life-transforming love of Jesus Christ.

I’m humbled to play a small role in the big picture of building God’s Kingdom — on earth as it is in heaven. And it’s the prayer of my heart that the keote Tiny Bible creates a ripple effect: that it sparks bold conversations about Jesus, stirs up deeper hunger for God’s Word in His children, and that it becomes a tool for salvation, encouragement, and renewal.
May this little Bible go far and wide.
May it transform hearts.
May it glorify Jesus.
Thank you for being here and for reading. May the Lord bless you and keep you,
Rachael
